Discover Montenegro's leading private higher education brand, fully compliant with European standards and integrated with America's most innovative education model (ASU).
UDG was founded in 2007 under the leadership of the region's leading visionary academics, Veselin Vukotić and Dragan Vukčević. The university champions an 'Investigator-Entrepreneur' education philosophy that balances theoretical courses with case studies and practical field projects.
With 100% compliance with the Bologna process and ECTS system, all courses completed at the university have direct academic equivalence across the European Union. In addition, thanks to the UNESCO-approved bilingual (English/Montenegrin) Diploma Supplement issued at graduation, degrees quickly clear bureaucratic equivalence processes in EU countries.
Montenegro's only library operating 24 hours continuously. During exam periods or research phases, it offers students unlimited support with a quiet study room for 100+ people and global database subscriptions like EBSCO and Springer.
The ProDe Rapid Prototyping Workshop (3D Printer, CNC), NCC Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, FoodHub Food Safety Center, and Media/TV Studios allow students to directly bring their projects to life.
Open and closed fields, fitness rooms, and swimming pools are available around the campus. The student cafeteria is extremely economical (€0.60 coffee, €4-6 hot meals).
A 230-bed modern UDG Student Dormitory built by the state is located 5-10 minutes walking distance from the campus (dorm fee is around 40-60 €/month). Room renting in shared apartments in the city is around 150-250 €/person.
UDG goes beyond being a simple local university and integrates its students into a global education network:
20-Year Strategic Partnership
Thanks to the deep integration with ASU, which was chosen as the 'Most Innovative University' in the USA by U.S. News & World Report, UDG curricula have been raised to American standards. Students can participate in dual degrees and accelerated master programs, and gain direct access to ASU's massive digital libraries.
Pinnacle of Tourism & Hospitality
In cooperation with Vatel, one of the world's most prestigious hospitality schools, a 100% English-medium tourism and hotel management curriculum is implemented. As part of their education, students undergo practical internships in luxury segment hotels like Hilton Podgorica and Porto Montenegro, and receive a Vatel France bachelor's degree.
Chinese Academic & Cultural Bridge
Intensive language training is provided by native Chinese instructors through the Confucius Classroom located on the UDG campus. Successful students can win summer school scholarships in China within the scope of this cooperation.
