University of Donja Gorica (UDG)
Discover Montenegro's leading private higher education brand, fully compliant with European standards and integrated with America's most innovative education model (ASU).
Entrepreneurial and Innovative Education Model
UDG was founded in 2007 under the leadership of the region's leading visionary academics, Veselin Vukotić and Dragan Vukčević. The university champions an 'Investigator-Entrepreneur' education philosophy that balances theoretical courses with case studies and practical field projects.
With 100% compliance with the Bologna process and ECTS system, all courses completed at the university have direct academic equivalence across the European Union. In addition, thanks to the UNESCO-approved bilingual (English/Montenegrin) Diploma Supplement issued at graduation, degrees quickly clear bureaucratic equivalence processes in EU countries.
Campus Life and Technological Infrastructure
📖 24/7 Open Library
Montenegro's only library operating 24 hours continuously. During exam periods or research phases, it offers students unlimited support with a quiet study room for 100+ people and global database subscriptions like EBSCO and Springer.

The ProDe Rapid Prototyping Workshop (3D Printer, CNC), NCC Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, FoodHub Food Safety Center, and Media/TV Studios allow students to directly bring their projects to life.
🏀 Sports and Social Facilities
Open and closed fields, fitness rooms, and swimming pools are available around the campus. The student cafeteria is extremely economical (€0.60 coffee, €4-6 hot meals).

Arizona State University (ASU)

Academic Ethics and Student Rights at UDG
One of the most common questions parents ask is what kind of institutional environment their child will study in abroad. The University of Donja Gorica has an official Code of Academic Ethics adopted by the University Senate, setting binding ethical standards for academic staff, employees, and students alike. At HIAKOS, we brief our students on these standards during the enrollment process.
Protection Against Discrimination
Discrimination against students on the basis of race, language, religion, nationality, gender, political opinion, health status, disability, financial situation, or any similar personal characteristic is prohibited. Students who report discrimination are explicitly protected from retaliation.
Fair and Transparent Examinations
The Code establishes that the only valid criteria for evaluating students are knowledge, understanding, and effort. Academic staff are required to ensure exam transparency and objective grading, and to resist any outside interference with results.
Confidentiality of Student Information
Academic and administrative staff are required to protect personal and confidential information obtained from students.
Special Protection for Students with Disabilities
The Code explicitly guarantees special protection for students with disabilities.
Academic Integrity
Plagiarism, false authorship, and fabrication or falsification of data are prohibited across all student work and academic publications. Faculties are required to teach academic integrity and citation rules to students at every level, starting at the beginning of their studies.
Anti-Corruption Mechanisms
The university maintains an Ethics Committee and a dedicated anti-corruption body responsible for investigating ethical violations, with the Dean, the Teaching and Scientific Council, and the Senate all involved in the process.
These standards mean your child is joining not just a degree program, but an academic community with defined rights and functioning protection mechanisms. HIAKOS advisors make sure students fully understand these rights and obligations during enrollment.
